Privacy as a Core Value.

PantryRx ("PantryRx," "we," "us," or "our") is a product operated by All Things AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three primary ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information from third parties.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account & Profile: Name (optional), email address, password or authentication tokens, preferences and settings.

Content You Upload: Pantry photos (images of shelves, products, ingredients), photos of grocery items or nutrition labels, text describing items or goals.

Household / Family Information: To help generate household-level insights, you may provide age range, dietary preferences, allergies/intolerances, goals, and other non-medical context.

Communications: Messages you send to us (support requests, feedback), responses to surveys or forms.

Important: Do not upload highly sensitive personal information you do not want stored (for example: medical records). If you choose to provide sensitive details, you do so voluntarily.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information (model, OS version, app version)
  • Log data (IP address, timestamps, crash reports, diagnostic events)
  • Approximate location (derived from IP address)
  • Usage data (pages/screens viewed, features used, interaction events)
  • Identifiers (device identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted)

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive limited information from authentication providers (Sign in with Apple/Google) and service providers for analytics, crash reporting, payments, hosting, or support. We do not receive your full credentials from those providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to operate, improve, and secure the Services, including to:

Provide the Services: Create and manage accounts, process pantry photos and inputs to generate results, display your pantry history and insights.

AI Processing & Human Review: Run AI analysis to identify items and generate informational recommendations, improve product performance and quality, review and troubleshoot AI outputs (including by human reviewers).

Communicate With You: Customer support and troubleshooting, updates about features, security, and policy changes, optional product marketing (where permitted).

Safety, Security & Compliance: Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, enforce our Terms, comply with legal obligations.

4. AI, Human Review, and What That Means

PantryRx may use AI systems to analyze pantry photos and related inputs. Outputs may include product identification, nutrition summaries, and generalized suggestions.

Human review: AI outputs and/or uploaded content may be reviewed by human reviewers for quality, debugging, safety, or support. Human reviewers may or may not be registered dietitians.

No guarantee: AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether to rely on any output.

5. Nutritional Data Sources (USDA FoodData Central)

Our Services may use nutritional datasets downloaded from USDA FoodData Central (https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/download-datasets). We may incorporate or reference nutritional values derived from these datasets and other sources.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of nutrition data or any analysis produced from it.

6. What We Do Not Do (HIPAA + Medical Clarity)

  • PantryRx is not a medical provider.
  • PantryRx does not provide medical advice.
  • PantryRx is not designed to store medical records, and you should not treat it as such.
  • We do not claim HIPAA compliance, and the Services may not be subject to HIPAA.

If you believe you have a medical condition or need personalized medical advice, consult a licensed healthcare professional.

7. Dietitian Involvement & State Licensing Limitations

  • PantryRx may offer access to one registered dietitian (RD) licensed in California.
  • RD services (if offered) are limited to where legally permitted.
  • If you are outside California, you may receive only general informational content, not licensed dietitian services.
  • PantryRx does not promise the availability of dietitian services in any jurisdiction.

8. How We Share Information

Service Providers: We share information with vendors that help us run the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, storage, analytics, support tools). They may access information only to perform services for us.

Legal & Safety: We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or enforce our Terms.

Business Transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

With Your Direction: We may share information when you ask us to (for example, sharing results with someone you authorize).

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. (See Section 12 for U.S. state privacy notes.)

9. Data Retention

We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion by emailing admin@pantryrx.ai. We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your location and how the app is configured, you may be able to:

  • Update account information
  • Control certain notifications/marketing preferences
  • Request access, deletion, or correction (see Section 12)
  • Manage device permissions (camera/photos)

12. Privacy Rights (U.S. States / California)

If you are a resident of certain U.S. states (including California), you may have rights such as:

  • The right to request access to certain personal information we hold
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to request correction (where applicable)
  • The right to opt out of certain "targeted advertising" (if enabled)

How to exercise rights: Email admin@pantryrx.ai with subject "Privacy Request." We will take reasonable steps to verify your request.

Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

13. International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

14. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact admin@pantryrx.ai.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will change. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
